Brief: How old are you? No, really.
Index, a revolutionary at-home test developed by Elysium Health, tracks the rate at which you biologically age through the use of epigenetic technology.
It is powered by a chip, developed with the help of Illumina, that utilizes an Algorithmic Platform for Epigenetic Examination (APEX) to assess and analyze your epigenetics from a saliva sample.
Index is an at-home saliva test. Saliva samples offer a convenient and non-invasive method for DNA sample collection. It is an ideal tissue to sample in terms of being reflective of an individual's epigenome at a given moment in time for measuring aging.

Brief: Los Angeles base company LA LUER is a skincare brand focused on an at-home tool and products that are convenient and easy to use. CEO and Owner, Nicole Chan developed "MIRA," a smart device that guides you through a simple beauty routine that is effective and efficient in helping you get results for healthy, radiant skin.
We started by defining the scope of her market; location, demographics, SWOT analysis... and more. Since her primary sales channel was B2B wholesale it influenced the immediate identity and collateral needs of the brand. From there we leveraged the technical idea behind her products to create a brand story and visual identity founded on the premise "progression of refinement."

The Index graphic system is a modern and scientific extension of the Elysium brand. Based on Horvath test data, it creates a visually consistent language throughout and relates the two products (Basis and Index) to each other.
The dot matrix is a scientific and expressive element that suggests movement, scale and personality. The visual execution relates directly to a focus on the journey and a movement from different points in time.
